SYNTHESIS / BIO-DREAM
Modified oligos & qPCR probes
Build a clear specification for a custom research probe. Confirm the sequence, dye/quencher combination, instrument compatibility and required purification before ordering.
Where this fits your work
- Custom qPCR probe enquiries for research assays
- Fluorescent, biotin or other modification enquiries
- Multiplex designs needing compatible optical channels
Build a complete project brief
| Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Chemistry | Define DNA/RNA backbone and each terminal or internal modification explicitly. |
| Optics | List fluorophore, quencher and qPCR instrument model; ask about available combinations. |
| Purification & QC | Specify purification, purity target, identity evidence and delivered quantity. |
| Validation | Separate synthesis QC from assay efficiency, specificity and detection-limit validation. |
Define what you receive
- Agreed probe amount and modification specification.
- Available QC documentation listed in the quotation.
- Storage and handling information appropriate to the delivered material.
These are quotation checklist items, not a guarantee that every listed output is included. Ask us to define the exact scope before ordering.
A local conversation. A clearly scoped project.
Share your sample count, intended output and preferred schedule. Bio-Dream coordinates the quotation and Hong Kong delivery arrangements.
Prepare a project enquiryQuestions before you begin
Can any dye be used on any qPCR instrument?
No. Excitation/emission channels and multiplex compatibility need to match the instrument and assay design.
Is a synthesised probe a validated diagnostic assay?
No. Synthesis supplies a reagent. Analytical and clinical performance require separate validation and applicable approvals.
